Volunteering...CISCO STUDENTS ONLY

Post by Ponton on Wed 07 Jan 2009, 3:34 pm

There have been a few requests that a thread be made where Cisco Academy 1st year students can post what "job" they would prefer to volunteer for in the CTC GT III. This is that thread! Please post a minimum of 3 jobs (listed below) in the order in which you would like to have. However, this thread is also for any students who can bring in anything, decorations wise, to the tournament. Also, if you have any decorations including appropriate gaming posters, lights, and other fun and creatives things which you can bring, post them here.

This thread is for Cisco Networking Academy Students Only. Please do not post anything that isn't off topic to this specific thread. Thanks, Tyler Ponton

Could we get a list for the available jobs we can volunteer for?

The list includes, but is not limited to, the following:

Decorations
Food/Concession
Security
Parking
Console Games
Music
Network/Device Configuration --- for 1st year, this is simply helping set things up.
Before/After Tournament Help --- including: table/chair setup equipment setup/taking down, etc

EDIT: A majority of security had already been taken care of. The Criminal Justice class is covering security and will more-than-likely be well-prepared for this. If someone still wants to help out with Security, please contact Carter H via e-mail.
Parking will not be a problem. There will just simply be signs pointing to where parking is.

I'm sure the majority will be helping with the before and after. I'll take either Network/Device Configuration or Music. Whichever is needed more.
